I read somewhere that 89% of Iraquis want him removed. It's not the Iraqi people that are the problem, it is Saddam. Doesn't eveyone agree on that, so let's get rid of him and see what happens.

Not so simple. You have to take him out and his thousands of Republic Guard supporters (who together control the country). That will, of course, be the objective. But it will not be a piece of cake. Once they're out, we'll have won.

Do you mean the people that surrendered as fast as they could back in '91. They must be the 11% that don't want him removed.
You know, I think this all goes back to Arab hatred of Israel. They will contiue to provoke us until we do something that they think justifies attacking Israel. I say let them stew in their hatred, and let our boys get "real training" killing their boys piecemeal all over the place.
