I'm lucky enough to be in a Chemistry Department, where most of my colleagues are apolitical. Even those who say they're liberal mean liberal in the 1960 sense. Unlike conservative or liberatarian colleagues in the social sciences and humanities (and even in the business school) I've never been retaliated against for my views, and it's fun being a conservative on campus; there's always some new piece of left wing idiocy to mock.
That's the dang thing that's been causing all the problems since Adam first whined to God about the chemical imbalances in the Garden of Eden!!!!
