I too am glad they were caught -- then maybe they'll feel some shame....

BTW no matter if no one in the church saw them --- God did.

I couldn't agree more. This guy's reaction is almost as bad as the act itself (which was INCREDIBLY stupid, disrespectful, sacreligious, and I think they ought to be horsewhipped for it). But this stupid "I don't want to judge" crap just infuriates me!

You and Clarence Darrow couldn't be more wrong if you tried.

Don't be so sure.

C.S. Lewis said when you give yourself to God, He gives you back to yourself, only better.

Stop reading Narnia and pay attention. You give yourself to God, you give up individuality and reason. You may believe that enslaving yourself to a confused iron-age religious tract may make you "better," but it leaves you less of a person.

And the word is not the same, unless you want to challenge every English lexicographer on it.

I'd be happy to. Its the same word, from the same etymological origins, with slightly different connotations depending on use.

Since when is telling the truth called bashing. Is what went on a lie? Am I exaggerating? Do you think we should all bury our heads in the sand like Cardinal Law?

I think the idea might be that the incident described in this article should not be a jumping-off point to launch into a critique of the Church. Your having done just that, coupled with the fact that you described the the incident in the article as "funny", would make me surprised if anyone concluded that your agenda wasn't Catholic bashing.

And one other thing not mentioned in this article was the nature of the type of sex. after regular coitus they are urged to go for the 2 point conversion. Refered to as they called it and 'ballon knot sex'

"...Note that these cowards didn't try this in an Islamic mosque...."

Note that the last Christian men who ever kicked infidel butt are now persona non grata in the Enlightened West. They have not been invited to the Clash of Civilizations. They have been heaaved overboard and fed to the pursuing diversity sharks.

Catholic boys now have Bishop Bottomly as their role model.

My cousin just informed me that at his exclusive, all-male Catholic High School they are going to spend an entire week being lectured by girls from another Catholic High School about gender discrimination.......

"Almost 99% of the members of Free Republic were raised as a Catholicand
feel compelled to confess the fact just after they crap on the Church....."

LOL! The same is true about almost anyone who has left any church. I think they "feel" left out and have to try to get other people to agree with them.

Since when is telling the truth called bashing.

When one does it to agitate others it is bashing. You do not seek to fruther the discussion on this topic but only to make your cute witicisms on the Catholic church.

BTW you first said you were raised Catholic (like you are not anymore) then later you said you were Catholic. Will you be the Pope next?

As the usher called for police, two officers who were tuned in to Mercurio's "blow-by-blow description" on the radio heard in the background "verbal demands from a cop to move" and rushed into the cathedral, Beyrodt said.

I think there is a good "Simpsons" gag involving Cheif Wiggum and his partner here. LOL!

Sheesh! NY's finest at work. I can just picture these gumbas in their squad car laughing it up, spitting little chunks of donut everywhere. I suppose it's O.K. and funny to listen to on the radio. It doesn't become a "situation" untill another cop is somehow "at risk". Typical cop mentality.
