My goodness, lody, where are you getting these beauties from? Is God a good artist or what?

Thanks for the Hot Dog (#57), Miss Daisy! Yum!
...and for the link Miss Billie. Nice post. Great photo/template you did. I would have bumped it, except it was locked like all the old threads are.

Billie wasn't taking a 'chance'. She 'knows' what a fine writer you are. We all do. : )But then, again, it's easy when you have a true "star" such as Luis as the subject!
You're much too modest, Free. None of these 'Finest' presentations are easy.
You lovely, and talented ladies just make it seem so. : )
Louie gets serious for a change. :) But he does know what he's talking about, because he's seen it from behind the scene, so to speak, as daisy and Lori and Amy and I use him quite a lot as a sounding board and/or reviewer/critic! Daisy and Lori and I are all indebted to those of you we've called upon to be a guest writer, and hope we can have more participation from others who would like to write the presentation.

Here's a picture of Havana, forty plus years into Fidel's "revolution".
The sign says "We Believe In Socialism"
"Believe in Socialism"?
I say
"Let Freedom Ring!!!"

God does do good work, doesn't He?
I'll throw up a link to this guys site. Freeper westmex found it as he is making a similar journey through Alaska. Mike LeDuc's travels and thoughts are highly entertaining - a gifted story teller - he sounds like a freeper himself.
Alaskan Adventures
Warning - this is a very compelling read for those who love travelogues with lotsa pics.

Reading of your journey to the US brought tears to my eyes. I imagine it felt that way to my grandparents (both paternal and maternal) when they approached Ellis Island by ship back in the 'teens early 1920's. They came to America from a poor and politically troubled background in Italy. They worked hard, learned to read and write English, in one case started a business, bore my parents, delighted in their grandchildren and left a legacy of which I am very proud.
May God Bless you and your family abundantly. I have run into several of your posts and articles and have enjoyed them immensely. It is people like you that make FR the successful and very special place that it is!

"I am at a loss for words."
Loss for words? You have hogged the stage for seconds now! How are the rest of us to offer the praise and exaltation you so richly deserve, if we can't get a word in edgewise?
Use the hook somebody! Where's the hook!
Congradulations Luis! Among the hordes of those worthy to be honored on "A few of Freepers Finest" I personally can think of none more deserving.
Forget the hook-drop the curtain and turn off the stage lights.
To: Billie; Freedom'sWorthIt; All
I am so overwhelmed, I will answer each and evryone of you...later, when I have some time.
Freepers?
The best friggin' people on the face of this earth!!!!!!!!
