Your post said that it looks like Ashley was molested by so many... As someone in her shoes a hundred years ago, I can tell you that men do prey on girls that have already been abused. I was sent as a ward of the court to stay with my aunt for my own protection (and I was younger than these two girls). My uncle chased me around the house trying to "kiss" and grab at me, and when I kept running around the table and wouldn't get near him he said, "see now, are you sure your stepdad wasn't just trying to give you a fatherly kiss like I was?" Yeah right! Yet, I already knew no one would believe me, I was the trouble maker so I never mentioned it. This man sounds like the Avilla pervert that murdered the little Runnion baby, they both committed their acts repeatedly without any consequence to them, escalating as they went along their merry evil way...

It's true the more things change, the more they stay the same. Nothing is different from any other era. Once a girl's "reputation" is "soiled" she is fair game for every pervert A$$hole that comes along.

I've been reading about the "social purity" movement of the 19th century, which pushed for raising the age of consent from 10-12 to 16-18. It's hard to believe that it was so low 150 years ago and that the exploiters of the world are once again demanding that it be pushed down to 10-12.
