Great column by Fred Reed, very thought provoking.

In the medium term of about the next five years, I think we will muddle along with the social pressure cooker on a low simmer. But if there is an economic depression or a terrorist attack causes widespread power outages and infrastructure breakdowns, then all bets are off.

For example, if travel is curtailed due to a bio attack, there will be empty grocery shelves, and the law of the jungle will prevail after dark if not during daylight. At that time, I would not want to be a minority in any area. I particularly would not want to be a white minority living in a majority black or brown area.

Want my advice? Invest in precious metals: lead and brass and steel.

And don't be trapped living as a minority in an ares where your house will be on everybody's grocery shopping list after the Safeway is looted.

BLOAT!

Like a lot of political movements, I think it will start in Sacramento.

Liberal politicos have pushed millions of taxpayers and gunowners to the wall by squandering hard-earned money and passing unconstitutional gun laws.

I can't wait for the "assault weapons confiscations" to start.

Good advice for this powder keg we live in called "society".

I'm afraid last year's riots up north of me in Cincy was merely a preview - and a dress rehersal for things to come...

How stable? Stable as C-4, but just as explosive.
