Think there were any civilians in Dresden during WWII? Thy blowed up real good!

Perhaps there was some military goal achieved in the bombing of Dresden, I can't find it! But, even Churchill questioned the morality of it. I suppose that if you can convince the guys who actually drop the bombs of the military necessity, then you're home-free! I don't think you can compare World War II Germany to present-day Iraq, in any event!
