To safely and permanently archive the entire thread for this or some other article you would want to download the thread to a CD or DVD ROM especailly since picture and doc files requiring a lot of storage are also on these threads.

Of course, FR itself serves as a temporary, but not secure or permanent, archive for discussion threads.
