You're exactly right. Saddam knows he's a goner, so of course he's going to kill as many Israelis as he can before he goes. Nuclear deterrence means absolutely nothing.

He'll take down as many Americans as he can too. If he has pre-positioned biological weapons in the U.S., they will be used.

Unless we get real lucky, this is going to be very ugly.

But in all honesty that was a Monetary war & covert operation, this one will be fought with some pretty serious weapons & therefore heavy casualties. I never thought that opposing nuclear attacks would consider me "problematic" anywhere and that supporting it has become a normal thing. That's what worries me in a way.
