oh, I just read here on FR that he wasn't campaigning well, I don't live in Calif, so I don't get exposed to him.

He isn't campaigning well at all. I guess if you get e-mails then that is the new medium for getting his positions out there. This is the WORST campaign I've ever seen.

I've said it before here, and I'll say it again, "I never dreamed ANYONE could LOSE TO DAVIS,.. but Simon just may!!"

It's too bad he won't bow out, and allow someone else to take the helm. Jones could have beat Davis, but he supported McCain for Prez,.. so he didn't get the Republican parties support. The administration supported Riordan. So Simon isn't the only one shooting himself in the foot. The Repubs have done a pretty good job of it too. I mean, how the hell do you lose to Davis??

We will vote for Simon. But it isn't looking good. In fact, in some twisted way he almost makes Davis look good. Sad huh?

This is the MOST NON CANDIDACY we've ever seen. Just amazing.

We thought he should FIRE his entire staff and start over. But this looks like he is simply in more trouble than previously thought. This doesn't look like a move to change managers or advisors, but simply to cut costs because he is in deep trouble. IMHO

I'm all for backing our Candidates,.. but there is also a time for the sake of the party for a person to step down, and for a party to speak up. This is the time for both! Simon may be a nice guy,.. but he isn't political matterial. Kind of reminds me of Michael Huffington (?). And if you don't remember his name, that should tell you something. If it hadn't been for Simon running against Davis, he also would have faded in our memories. But since it is Davis, he/Simon will be remembered for losing to the worst possible candidate in California history. This should have been the easiest race in the country!!

Tin foil hat is on.. blast away!! :o)
