Feminism for everywomyn. Very depressing.

They have nothing to lose...except time in the kitchen or washing floors or bathrooms.
Of course they never give credit to the men who "dig" ditches, provide money for their "shopping sprees", cut the lawn, fix the car, go off to war, fight fires, police our streets, keep our government working, and YES, give them children.
Women have become "monsters" who see only one side of the coin...STUPID

Oh yeah, I'm a women!!

Oh, I'm sure these campus groups have lots of whoopee-do important issues to protest over, but---
I like to go swimmin' with bow-legged women.
But I can't find any bow-legged women, and If I do, they say they can't swim, or else they don't want to go swimmin', or else they just don't want to go swimmin' with me.
Just who do I see about that? Huh?

The connection between women's rights and environmental issues is called "ecofeminism". Apparently, some colleges offer majors in ecofeminism.

"[w]hile upon initial examination, these groups appear to operate completely independently without a common agenda, upon closer inspection, the groups can be seen as different pieces of the same conservative pie." CODE RED!
Dang it! They've found out about the VAST RIGHT WING CONSPIRACY.
To the Batcave...we need to change our identity.
CODE RED!

"the epidemic of women forgoing careers as sports coaches because they fear people will think they are lesbians"
'Not that there's anything wrong with that'
I couldn't resist, I just had a Seinfeld moment.

There are some real issues for feminists. Only I don't see them protesting it:
1. Clinton's rape charge.
2. Fashion industry's insisstance on designing shoes that not only prevent women from walking fast but actually damage feet.
3. The ridiculous clothes seen at fashion shows which no one who expects to be taken seriously would consider wearing.
4. The reducing of women to sex objects on much of prime time TV & in scores of films.
5. Marv Albert.
6. The pass given to athletes such as Iverson, Ray Lewis and Randy Moss for abuse of women.

You know, the reason no one takes REAL misogyny or racism seriously anymore is because groups like this SO trivialize the issue and make mountains out of molehills that they've lost any credibility they may have once had. Andrea Dworkin really showed the colors of this movement when she said it was impossible for a man to have sex with a woman and not have it be rape...morons!

*cringe* Women like these, give women like me a bad name. I believe in equal rights and equal pay, but I'm still very old fashioned when it comes to relationships. I mean what man wants their women wearing combat boots in the bedroom? But then again, it seems as if these women don't like men. Sheesh!!! Must be something in the water at Stanford.

That depends. Are we talking about playing "The Captain and the Naughty Private" sort of thing? :)

Who would want to "rape" Andrea Dworkin? She doesn't have a thing to worry about.
To: WyldKard
ROTFLMAO! No it doesn't mean "The Captain and the Naughty Private". Unless of course the woman is the Captain and the man is the Naughty Private. :0)

"If you have been searching for a place to connect with sisters who proudly claim both their lesbian and Christian identities," Christian Identity Lesbians? Do they worship Eva Braun?

The connection between women's rights and environmental issues is called "ecofeminism".Does that mean that these lesbians will only hug female trees?
4. The reducing of women to sex objects on much of prime time TV & in scores of films.
On a that same note have you noticed how many beautiful, perfectly heathly women in show business have come down with Ally McBeal syndrome(starving themselves until they look sick and utterly unattractive)? Laura Flynn Boyle and Sara Michelle Gellar automaticlly come to mind but there are quite a few more that I could list.
