I was getting all excited to tell my neighbor (who has tinnitus) about this "breakthrough" until I saw the original date that this was posted 08/14/2002.
That is pretty old news! I'm sure the audiology field is well informed about this 5 years hence.
They may have some better treatments by now?

Yes...this is an old thread....somebody bumped it last week and others saw it and it took on new life.
