Well, at midnight EDT, Cspan is showing the Majette-McKinney debate. It's too bad you'll miss McKinney's Fruit of Islam bodyguards. I don't know if they made it on camera.

Geez, I hadn't been following the McKinney-Majette stuff really... I never realized why it was important... I mean, the way I figured it, I'm a Californian, why should I care about a tiny election on the East Coast, you know? But now I am going to follow it all the way. I really hope Majette wins.

"Money is money." That shows where McKinney is coming from. If only I lived in Georgia and then I could physically do something to give Majette another leg up on McKinney.

McKinney's Fruit of Islam bodyguards

Oh, that figures. How about "fruits and nuts of Islam"?

If you do a FR search for "McKinney," you'll see her very cozy ties to Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam. Her campaign manager is Nation of Islam. A man she hired as her communication manager when McKinney went off to the UN's conference on racism in Durban, South Africa (yes, we paid his salary) is a writer for Farrakhan's "newspaper," Final Call and the son of Stokely Carmichael and a big muckimuck in the NOI. McKinney writes guest columns for Final Call and she's their gal. McKinney isn't just pro-Arab. She's heavily tied into the NOI. NOW do you see why I want Majette to win?

Neighbor, I'd vote for Majette in a heartbeat- simply because McKinney is such a disgrace, if for no other reason.

But... Majette also seems to be pretty decent- for someone on the left. Truth is, in a major metropolitan area like that, you just aren't going to elect anyone over on the right, so you have to settle for someone who might not be personally ideal, but who still would be an improvement.

Oh, I understand completely. I just think it's a shame that the US has become so embroiled in Middle East conflicts that Arabs vs. Jews has become a major part of our elections. We should stay the hell out of that region and it's perpetual violence.

BTW, my son got a copy of Final Call on his college campus. It was a real hoot! These people would be funny, if they weren't so dangerous.
