The fact that Sharpton has moved up since last month suggests he wasn't hurt by the July 23 TV broadcast of 1983 FBI tapes that seem to show him discussing a cocaine deal. If anything, he may have gained visibility.

When Al ran for mayor of New York a few years back, his campaign HQ was on 8th avenue across the street from my apartment. Hanging on the building was a big sign that read: (a direct quote)
Sharpton for Mayor "It could happen!"
I feel I have to support the nomination of any democrat with such a clear view of the political landscape.
