Well, the Democrats claim they're shouting so much because they feel people's pain. And there is pain, regardless of whether the Democrats give a rip or merely want power.

As for why the Democrats aren't achieving much, they claim it's because they control neither the White House nor the House of Reps. And they barely control the Senate (thank the Lord).

If the Democrats advance in November, the following two years will be tough indeed. It's up to us to pressure our own political party to shape up, or else there will be plenty of shrapnel for us all. There's still time, and it's good that this forum is trying to keep our elected officials "honest".
