So, we've found this year that a number of large companies are filled with liars. We are used to liars because of the clinton administration. But, we didn't know that most of our stocks were based on lies, nor did we know that ethics had disappeared long ago, and the leadership of some very large companies has lied and hoodwinked many an investor, but we now know.
We knew the clintons were liars, and we've discovered that some in business are as well, but now, we see some in the Bush admin running away from the truth.
We are suffering from a severe lack of faith.

I think it quite likely that Card and O'Neill knew this was happening, and did not want to release any information prior to the papers being served.
You can lose faith if you wish, although pardon me if I am a bit doubtful that you ever had any. I trust an administration that does things, rather than talking.
