Perhaps you could please list those 7 here for those of us who are too busy to find the book and read it when we could instead be loafing here? :-)
The habits in and of themselves mean very little outside of the context of the book which compares and contrasts behaviors of individuals driven by a "character ethic" as I feel President Bush is versus those who are driven by things other than the desire to "do the right thing".

Begin with the end in mind
put first things first
Think win, win
Seek first to understand, thin be understood
Synergize
Sharpen the saw.
I think the book is an excellent read, FWIW.
