Billie, darlin', there ain't no short way to cross Texas!!! We've made round trips to Lubbock, San Angelo, Killeen, Dallas, DeKalb, Vernon, and El Paso (that one was easy!); and we've crossed Texas on our way to Alabama, Maryland, and Oklahoma. No trip was ever short, except the one to El Paso...and it still seemed to take forever to get to El Paso after crossing the border!
