And maybe you'll like this story... At the last National Day of Prayer here, which took place in Santa Monica, my six-year-old was asked to lead the attendees in the Pledge of Allegiance.
It was quite a sight as the proceedings got ready to begin. Two long tables had been set up on either side of the podium, and the eight West L.A. pastors and ministers chosen to speak were seated at them. And so was my son, this incongruous little peanut in between the suits. Too funny.
