That's a good idea. Will do. I wonder if that strange ranger Milt Rosenberg of WGN Radio is gonna post the audio of his Anne interview. I say he hasn't got the nuts.

This book is a must read, one of my absolute favorites.

Regarding the early 700 plus quotes, Coulter was recently on Hannity and Colmes where Colmes had obviously only read the first five pages and did nothing but ask questions concerning the validity of her references.

LAMB: Let me read it. "Nina Totenberg showed how serious journalists work, remarking of Molinari's CBS gig, quote, `Well, this really makes me want to puke. You know, at least CBS had the decency when they hired Diane Sawyer from the Nixon White House to make her go out and stand in the rain for a year or so to earn her position. It really -- it just makes me want to throw up.'"

What's in that sentence or couple of sentences that describes what you're trying to get at?

COULTER: Well, that is the part where all of the media world goes crazy that CBS had hired moderate, pro-choice Susan Molinari to deliver, you know, cooking and exercise tips on Sunday morning TV. And meanwhile, earlier in the chapter, I've cited dozens of journalists who worked on the staff of Democrats or who were Democratic politicians themselves delivering objective news. I mean, at the same time, CBS had hired Bill Bradley, Democratic senator, soon to run for president, to actually deliver political analysis on the evening news. Here Susan Molinari was just going to be giving, you know, little self-help human-interest-type stories, and the reaction in the media -- you would have thought that, you know, CBS had turned over the news division to the Republican Party, or perhaps the Klan!

It says a lot. Which reminds me, it is good to go back over the written transcript because, for me at least, it was hard to pick up on everything fast-talking Ann said.

I bet no liberal will review her book. And if its anything like Rush --- if it stays on the bestseller lists for a year it will be ignored. To liberals, conservatives just as well might not exist. Which goes on to illustrate how widespread the bias that Ann wrote about is and when you consider how much of it is spewed daily in this country, its amazing conservatives are a presence in American life at all. My own example is today's L.A Slimes front page article which quotes people from President Bush's own home county to put the President and Republicans in the worst possible light and to talk the economy down. It's hard to imagine them running that kind of hit on GrayDown. So you have this liberal editorializing going on around the clock literally everywhere you look. After all everyone knows conservatives don't count in the grand scheme of things. I mean to the high and mighty who command the heights of culture in this society, we're nobodies!

The original copy of this book was 600 pages, but no one will publish a 600-page book because apparently very few want to read a 600-page book, so this was pretty much the first 200 pages. We cut it down from there. So I already have a rough first draft of something I would like to be the next book. My agent e-mailed me and said I know you don't care about money and you just want to change the world, but I'm your agent. Can I care about money? Can you please send me a proposal?

I guess we can expect a sequel sometime after the paperback of Slander is out. Go Ann!

Done deal! I just e-mailed them and thanked them and Mr Lamb specifically for having Ann on the air for a great interview. It's really nice to see Ms. Coulter in an interview where she is allowed to finish a sentence. I saw her on CNN's 'Cross-Squauk' and got so disgusted with Mr. Potato Head (Carville) talking over her and belittling her I wanted to break my TV.

just wait...if Bill Clinton's little worker bees ever finish his book for him, it will be 600+ pages, and probably no footnotes. Just self-serving spit and spin. But it will be on the NYTimes bestseller list before the ink is dry.
