Falsely alleging a massacre which actually never happened is shameful and should be exposed and refuted. Should not also those making false allegations that Dick Cheney acted fraudulently while at Halliburton also be shamed, exposed and refuted?

The insideous, nameless & faceless Associated Press strikes yet again.

One day this nation might just realize that printing LIES does not constitute "Freedom of the Press."
Printing lies is today what it's always been, an act of plain old, garden variety liable.

Would it be such a threat to our constitution & the PRIVELEGES it extends to the nation's information providers they be expected to tell the truth??
And, when & where the Lamestream monsters are in fact found to be lying?
The offender(s) be held strictly accountable along with some mighty stiff penalties to keep 'em honest?
Is that asking too much?

When will our supposed "leaders" realize whenever anyone deliberately sets out to poison the minds of the nation's citizens, they're committing a flat-out criminal act.
An act which cannot be regarded so lightly anymore as we simply cannot afford the tremendous damage inflicted in the wake.
The day of zero-tolerance for this assinine, manipulative behavior is long overdue, as it is.

How much longer must we wait before the Leftist-Socialist ghouls (& "right wing" ones, too...) MOTIVE(s) for this kind of seditious CRAP be regarded for what it really is; a henious form of subversion designed explicitly to decieve, confuse, and mislead us all.
Why?
For their evil, Socialist ends; more often than not.

...good God; we all deserve better than this in 2002 America.

The press has always lied. If you look at what the press printed about Washington, Jefferson, Adams, and Madison for example, you would see that the founders gave the press the right to lie. The press printed terrible lies about all of the founders. Inspite fo the abuses, the founders gave the press teh right to lie.

The founders believed it was better to have a press that was free to lie, rather than a government powerful enough to stop them from lying.

...To be clear, Military Historian Major ROBERT L. BATEMAN stated on today's... ...The JUDICIAL WATCH Report.. Radio Show...

...that there were between 8 and 36 Korean Civilians who were accidental casualties of a moving wartime 7th Cavalry perimeter...

...but there was NO willful Massacre of hundrends at NO GUN RI. ...And again ..there are NO GRAVES in that area.

...In his Research ..Major BATEMAN has learned that there was a small gap of time between the 7th Cavalry's calling in Mortars as protective fires and the moving of its Defensive Perimeter. In otherwords a few Korean Civilians ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time in a constantly changing war landscape with our Forces in a confusing fast retreat ...as the invading North Korean Communists were battling to quickly push them into the sea.

.."Witness" and now convicted Felon and former Korean War Army Auto Mechanic ..ED DAILY.. told the world thru our lying Media that he was ordered to FIRE on hundreds of Korean Civilians no matter what.

...Just what was his Sentence for Fraud anyway, AP...?

Major ROBERT L. BATEMAN's Book is an outstanding example of what all Investigative Journalism should be.
The root of the word "journalism" is "jour"--French for "day". "Jour"-nalism--the short-deadline hackery pumped out every day or--in the case of broadcasting--every hour, with sporadic "breaking news" in between, deserves only contempt IMHO.

"Investigative journalism" is an altogether different breed of cat, as exemplified by "journalism" that is published as a book with, obviously, months or years of lead-time.

This case sounds like a perfect illustration of the point that the Federal Government--read, "the FCC"--has no business endorsing "jour"nalism. Print journalism is indeed part of "the press" under the First Amendment. Accordingly it is uncensored and unlicensed. Broadcasting of all types is censored by the FCC, so that you have a "right to receive"--not to transmit but to receive--its licensees' programming. But if you have to have a license from the government to do it, how can you simultanteously claim First Amendment freedom to do it???

Patently broadcast journalism is no part of "the press" under the First Amendment, or you or I could just up and do it, whenever the spirit moved us to do so. Just like we can run a pamphlet off on our printer, on a whim.

Broadcast journalism is unnecessary; the Constitution worked without it before and could most readily do so again. Because it depends on government favoritism, it is also illegitimate.

I wrote a long letter to the editor the day the no gun ri "news" story was printed on the front page saying it was a hoax and had no business on the front page or inside of any American newspaper. They printed the letter - but were not happy with it. I wonder if the editor remembers?
