This statement confirms the fact that the (government, was it the DEA?) was pulling at straws when they aired those Super Bowl anti-drug commercials. On top of that, buying cigarettes, alcohol, ice cream, gasoline, phone cards, and almost anything at a convenience store is helping the terrorists' financing. Always blame the druggies when those facts are politically uncomfortable. I bought take-out from a place that was closed by the FBI. Is my food comsumption going to be publically rebuked during the World Series?
Living in NJ, the amount of scams that have been rumoured to be connected to all kinds of Muslims with evil intentions against the people in this country have been numerous. Dominoes and other franchise eateries, cig smuggling, fake phone cards, car insurance scams, drug distribution, gas station fronts, and rumors about almost every cash business you can thing of, including one rumor I heard of with a group of ice cream trucks.
Honest, or so I believe, Muslim businessmen working in the communities where these fronts were located have seen their customers disappear, and have closed shop. One man near me had his establishment attacked. If this continues, the economic segregation seen throughout the UK will intensify here, stirring the pot for years to come.
It may be really regrettable when some honest Muslims become victims of segregation and suspicion, but... there is virtually no such Muslims. The fellow-religionists' extortion net is mersiless: voluntarily or not, everyone must pay his fee. For instance, every Albanian in any business in Europe and America pays to their drug-trafficking, pimping, terrorist leadership. Punishment for non-obedience is severe.
