Are you the same person over there as here?

Well now, I am a touch friendlier here than there, and I am allowed to post as much as I care to here...and have never been on probation here...as there; due diligence warning: I was "banned" for quite a bit for sassing Cal and Deb...but it was earned and later I was given a time out for arguing with the JDL & the Pope's Choir...

but yes, I am me and it is good to see Nal again...he can vouch for me since we once spoke on the telephone...he told folks I sounded like I was in my thirties...so I've always admired his discretion and well tuned senses...I campaigned for Harry Truman in 1948 if that helps to pinpoint my age and affiliations.

I really have nothing to say, I'm just posting because with all these old names on the thread, I felt I should.

That is cool but, I would advise staying away from there as they are in smear mode against everyone and everyone it seems. You will gain nothing at this point with them. LP is a ghost town site if we don't go there. There will be one to 20 posters left there the true FR haters. ok too much credit maybe 10 left there.

Point is with the threats they have made or things they have done it will be easy to track their smears and track it right to the person barking orders to Joe.

Well, it might be informative as to your age, but Ronald Reagan and a lot of conservatives and neo-conservatives campaigned for Truman!

I briefly flipped over to the "dark side" in college before realizing the errors of my ways.

The 'government-is-the-solution' Democratic Party demands voter-friendly "economic equality" at the expense of individual political freedom. Economic equality is, of course, anti-capitalism and demands a people-controlling collectivism. The demands for more and more social engineering by the voters is met by more and more taxes on productivity (graduated income tax) and shouting down our best and brightest ("Tax the Rich").

The spiral is now seemingly unstoppable until the inevitable poverty and tyranny (or war).
