I don't blindly defend people either, nor have I on this thread. I merely pointed out that there are a number of "former freepers" who I've considered friends that are now gone. In some cases, their loss is felt/noticed to this day.

I don't know why some people get so defensive at the mention of their names and feel the need to hurl accusations (unsubstantiated or not) against them. They're no longer here to defend themselves and I frankly find it small minded and petty to take shots at them.

But I've never gotten "into" the politics behind the scenes of FR. I have better things to do with my time. :)

Ask around US. In fact, I suggest you post a thread asking people their impressions of what happened in the DITHF episode. You may not get many answers, most if not all of the opposition was driven off the site in a few nights of unbridled carnage. Antifreeperism was born at that point.

Actually, I was a lurker for a year until I finally decided to post. I was so HUMBLE around the bright stars of Free Republic, that I chose the name of humble. Unfortunatly, I typed an 'n' by error. Oh well, such is life.

I have always been honest and open in what I believe. If you want to know how I feel about any subject, just ask.

Research me, I am proud of my archived postings on Free Republic. Never, not once, have I been ashamed of my archived posting and hope that they are saved for reference.

Funny, that's not the way they tell it. More like "forced out?"

DonMorgan insisted that he would not be interested in any website that didn't kiss his arse...so he spent three months whining about the lack of respect he was getting as a 'representative' of Gov. Bush in the primaries. He then left and moderated an early anti-freeper site where he joined Mojo in trashing his former colleagues.

He is currently a Republican District Committee man who managed to cut the Republican turnout by 70% his first time out...some say his personality proved again to be lacking.

I don't need to ask. I'm familiar enough with it, although I don't know the details about the "end" and frankly I don't care.

I'll tell you what I do care about though: I do care when people I consider friends are un-necessarily trashed by others. Especially when those people are BANNED from FR and UNABLE to defend themselves against the accusations (again, substantiated OR unsubstantiated) posted here. Why do you feel the specific need to go after her in my presence? I already said I didn't want to quibble over it, yet you keep pushing the issue. It's very telling.

What's the deal Bob? Is there now a witch-hunt going on for anyone who considers Cal or Clarity (or any other "former freeper" for that matter) a friend?
