I have trust in Dick (and Lynne) Cheney that if there was any wrong-doing on Dick's part at Halliburton, he would resign before he would allow himself to be a discredit to the Bush Administration.

I wholeheartedly agree. If there were any "there" there, Cheney would remove himself as not to discredit the office.
