These religious orders deserve no respect whatsoever much less that we should trust them with the care of our children!
As far as they take vows of poverty , that doesn't stop them from working for a living , it only stops them from using the earnings on themselves, What a bunch of crap.

15,000 priests belong to orders , 15,000 are said to be homosexuals and 15,000 are diosesan priests??? I think it is time to start over, from the beginning.

Very disheartening article.

Anyone know if there are some conservative/orthodox cousins of the Catholic Church (such as something like Polish Catholic Church) who, while still being allied and under Rome, nevertheless are bedrock conservative/maintain the sacraments, but whom have an absolute no-tolerance policy for child molesters (even single offenders) and homosexuality in the priesthood?

Sad to say, it might make sense for some to start shopping around for an alternative to 'the Church that Christ Founded--Lite".
