This Cardinal is spouting the same garbage that Condit did about cooperating with the police. They don't fool me a bit.

300 out of 46 000 is 0.652 % over the last 40 years.
While I believe one abuser is one too many, it is always good to keep things in perspective. These numbers came to light just because of the recent media’s orgy against the Catholic Church. Very few of the homosexuals were serial abusers - but they served best for the media’s attack against the whole Church. Other denominations, as well as non-Christian faiths, are likely to have a higher percentage of abusers proportionally to their laxity in teachings on sexual morality, their appreciation of sexual perversions and their teachings on the, so-called, “right to choose.”

The forces behind the media have no intention of going after any other religious group at this point. The Catholic Church is their enemy.

To say that the Catholic Church acts against the children, because some puny US Bishops ordained some sick perverts to the priesthood at some point in time, is really stupid, it is to know nothing about the Catholic Church and to derive misinformation about the Church from anti-Christian and anti-Catholic massmedia only.

There are many evil forces set to demoralize our youth, but the Catholic Church isn’t one of them.

...This week the Washington Post reported a Poll taken within the D.C. Seminary connected with the Catholic University of America on SeXual Orientation of its members.

...Only ---20%--- of the Seminarians considered THEMSELVES as normally HeteroseXual.

...50 years ago the 80% non-HeteroseXual Seminarians would have been ...EXPELLED... from the Seminary.

...The Response of the U.S. Catholic Bishops to Catholic Adults committing suicide as a result of their having been abused by Catholic Priests for years when they were little children... ...was to appoint 2 of SeXually-Abusing in our White House BILL CLINTON's Chief Impeachment Defenders ..Att. ROBERT S. BENNETT -&- CLINTON White House Chief of Staff LEON PANETTA ..to their new Catholic Oversight Review Board to monitor how the Bishops deal with this Priestly SeXual Abuse Scandal in the future. This instead of addressing the HomoseXual Scandal in thier own ranks.

...There is now an orhestrated Media Attack in the Catholic Press against Author MICHAEL ROSE for his warning us and the U.S. Catholic Bishops about the HomoseXual Scandal in the U.S. Catholic Church.

...The real attack on Christianity in our Country commenced with trusted by parents Priest's dropping the drawers of their children and the U.S. Catholic Bishops and Cardinals looking the other way while teaching the rest of us that what they themselves were doing was wrong.

...That there are other powerful forces out there working hard to destroy all Christianity in America, first and foremost amongst them HILLARY RODHAM -&- BILL CLINTON, is not at issue. They are there BIG TIME at a time when our beloved country needs CHRISTIANITY the very most.

...But to survive here Christianity must police itself and bring all SeXual Abusing Clergy to Justice before the Law or it will die in the eyes of the people.

...Dear Lady of Fatima, Pray for US.

Well, we've got a lot of work to do to convince Catholic parents otherwise, don't we? It takes very little to break trust, and much to restore it.

It will take a generation to remove the thought from a Catholic mom's head "I wonder if Father's scoping out my kid?"

Let's put this in perspective.
300 KNOWN cases.
Call it a media frenzy or a witch hunt, what have you, but THE CHURCH is the only one responsible for their current effing mess.
It is called style over substance.
Let's don't and say we did.
Until the church takes the bull by the horns and excommunicates the sick bastards who prey on children, they will continue to suffer Gods wrath.

Let me get this straight. The Church has a priest who has molested children. They have no reason to believe he won't do so again.

Their solution to the problem is to keep them away from children by giving them administrative jobs.

Now I have a very simple question for the church. If they manage to now find some child somewhere to molest is your policy to continue to employ them? How about two more children? Three more children? Ten? A hundred? A thousand?

Hmmmm. If I were a child molestor who had not yet been caught I know who I would want to work for....

Great call in this morning, Aloha Ron. Dick Morris is really exposing the fraud that Hillary is. As for these corrupt priests, I never put my faith and confidence in any priest. Just God alone.

SOME Catholic priests? Too many for my liking. I am Catholic, I will die Catholic. I will always defend my FAITH but not those who pretend to be what they are not and even one child molested is waaaaay too many.

I could care less about the media. We all know what they are so what they report is garbage anyway. If the media gets their kicks attacking the Catholic church so be it...that is THEIR problem. I could care less what they are for or against.

However, the Priests in positions of authority who abused their power over children and destroyed the trust parents put into them is something I cannot forget nor forgive.

These molesters belong in prison along with their superiors who allowed it to happen as they shifted them from one parish to another just waiting to pounce on some little innocent altar boy or little girl.

These people are monsters and I'm glad it was brought out into the open for all to see. Bottom line...they violated the children of God. Shame, shame, shame on them.

…Liberalism is rampant in the Catholic Church.

I do not agree with that. In some instances it is strictly a local problem or a local figure, something like the case of a former homosexual abp. of Milwaukee. Even if most of the US Catholics turn heretics, still, it won’t be the whole Church. I know a bunch of good, solid lay and religious Catholics who hold on to the true faith and morals.

…I was there. I know.

Again, the Catholic Church is more than a “modern” 1960’s style parish run by Rev. Goofball. With respect to your decision… perhaps you quit too fast?

Y'all are done - the corpse just hasn't stopped twitching.

It would be interesting to know your religious affiliations, if any.
