I find him as credible as about 90% of the other eligible who did not serve, from what I understand there were approximately 30 Million eligible young men who could serve during the Viet Nam war.

Of those thirty million approximately 3 million served in country.

So the other 27 million who did not serve should have no voice in the say of the military today.

Along with that I don't think females who have not served should have a say, nor the blind cripple and crazy.

I wasn't drafted I volunteered and I was in country for 19 months, so I say he makes sense.

BTW go to townhall.com and see what Jonah Goldberg has to say about this same subject.

With all due respect, you are mistaken. It was a rare 19 year old male who could quit college in the middle of his freshman year and not wind up in uniform. Has nothing to do with those who had 2S deferments so they could attend school.

One small problem with your math is that many served who did not end up in country including some RA's. The Army has a way of doing with you as they darn well please!
