My money is on the hecklers being planted by the media to do a story on just this.

I don't know about being planted, but some media surely had advance notice of their presence. I watched the speech on Fox and heard indistinct shouts from podium microphones. Later, I saw a rerun on MSNBC. They had microphones near the hecklers which caught a much longer duration and clarity of heckling.

How did the hecklers get their tickets?

Quite accidentally I had taped both the Foxnews coverage and the CNN coverage (immediately following the incident- not the evening news coverage.)

Fox showed ONE chant, then the kids being hustled out during LOUD APPLAUSE from the audience who were there to listen to Vice-president Cheney.

CNN played 25 seconds of the chanting and NO applause.

Guess I'll stick with FOX!
