Dover, NJ was once a nice place? Maybe you're being sarcastic and I'm just not getting it. Dover, NJ has for a while been the mecca for illegal immigrants in this area, but then again I'm not old enough to have seen Dover in the 60's

I just turned 43 a few months ago, so I wouldn't say that it was THAT long ago ...... I moved from there when I was 8. We lived in a section that didn't have a lot of homes, it wasn't even a subdivision, really. Our back yards were all woods, and to the right were the Poconos, you could see them from the windows. We would walk down this path thru woods to the railroad tracks ( my brother loved that ) and watch the trains go by. The nearest city was Morristown. I imagine it doesn't look the same way today, the woods are probably all razed and it's a full fledged subdivision by now. However, back in 1966 it was a beautiful, peaceful place to live.
