But, Califonia does have one redeeming county...Kern County. Talk about an island in a swamp of muck. Kern County is about as conservative as you will find in the U.S.

You failed to mention the millions of welfare dependent illegals, crime-ridden cities due to big drug pushing gangs, miserable educational policies and results, corrupt politicians and clintinoid judicial idiots at every level. Then add extreme taxation with hugely incompetent representation--and it's all in Kalifornia. Mercy!

For another state with severe problems-- all brought on by nearly fifty years of nothing but RATS in power, you have to add HAWAII. The place is the toe jam of the world.
