And the wonder is not how easily "human beings" can be dragged into that animalistic morrass, so much as how short a trip it is for some cultures... ...and a certain religion.

Yes. I found it on the Ogrish.com site, which has a lot of sick, bizarre photos and videos of autopsies and accidents, etc. I was looking for the Pearl video. The Russian soldier video was a terrible, terrible thing. I stopped it very early when I realized how graphic it was going to be. As horrible as the Pearl video was, Pearl apparently died quickly. The Russian was knifed in the neck and they basically started slicing while he was still alive. I assume they cut his head off, but I didn't watch it all. It was complete with audio of the soldier screaming and then gurgling sounds. It is horrible and inhuman that anyone, especially a Western teen, would think this was "cool."
