Catspaw, I actually agree with your analysis. And in no place on this thread (or any other thread) will you find that I said that the courts were wise to compel the woman either way. However, you are confusing legality with morality. I agree with your legal argument 100%. I also soundly condemn this woman as a hypocrite and a harlot. She was in the right legally. Morally she is bankrupt, and should be recognized as such.

Actually, if she's a harlot, he's a whoremonger. Both had indiscriminate, out-of-wedlock sex and out of that came a baby.
