Surely Fr. Ortman need only be reminded of his own words from November 2001 regarding his own pro-life witness against abortion (in fall 2001 Ortman helped install 2200 crosses in a symbolic "graveyard for the unborn" on parish property), which met with resistance in the parish:

‘If people are going to be offended, that’s their problem,’ he said. ‘We are called to proclaim the Gospel. This was simply a nonverbal proclamation of the Gospel. Jesus offended people every time He opened His mouth.’

So, Ortman was pro-life last November, and now equivocates?

This priest is full of himself, not the Good Lord. He should be taken to task by his parishioners.
