I did join several years ago but I never attended any meetings. So, you've piqued my interest. What did I miss?

Same here - 140/Visionary Philosopher. We seem to have a lot of those here (go figure). I think I blew the one with the different colored segments. It's hell being color blind.

mule,kangaroo,cow,deer,donkey

Of course it's the 'roo that is in a different category. The others can be ridden.

I picked the mule. It can't reproduce. Scored a 133, but did the thing while on a conference call and picking the first obvious answer.

What, is 135 the maximum on this thing?

No. I took this same test from this website 5 months ago and scored a 139.

158 on this test and as a paying member of Mensa urging any sane person that if you do join, never, never go to one of the meetings

A 158? That's a bit interesting since the maximum score on this particular test a year and a half ago was only 144. The questions simply aren't difficult enough to warrant anything higher than that.

well the roo has claws, not hooves.

I picked the 'roo too, but because it's the only marsupial.

Received a 156 on yours listed in your message, 140 on the one listed in the header of this message thread which is as high as it goes:

Thank you for recently taking the Self Discovery Workshop's IQ Test.
Because of the Internet's ability to mishandle transmissions, we are
reconfirming via email that your IQ Test score was: 156

http://www.iqtest.com/view/iqtest/options/020805/10285735128130

I normally score in the high 140's or low 150's. Scary thing is my mother hits the high 150's or low 160's but that's why she has her PhD Psychology and Sociology from UVA.

He must not be a native....LOL

Anyone from Morris County is either an illegal landscaping immigrant....or works for Enron.

I'm pretty sure the latter...or he has his accent control down pat.

BTW...true story down here in Monmouth County..(of course it didn't make the papers) Bradley Beach Police discovered a three bedroom house occupied...by, and I'm not making this up, over two hundred Mexicians staying in one house....no furniture...just wall to wall mattresses.

126, which I am quite satisfied with considering I'm doing it at work while eating lunch and I was interrupted three times, thank you very much. Said I'm very mathematical, which is no surprise for an engineer.

I'd like to do a *real* one some time to see what happens....

What is with the Garden State Parkway anyway???? I realize this is a thread about I.Q. and soforth, but what is it with those "pony up thirty cents" booths every couple of miles? Is New Jersey insane?

What Bill said. I can't speak for him, but my local chapter is excellent evidence of why they have their own club. They're seriously unable to adapt to the world most of us live in.

I have a feeling that people who are really into Mensa are people who have high IQ scores, and have difficulty in the real world. Most high-IQ people work in fields where they meet lots of other high-IQ people without any need to go to Mensa meetings
