I have learned as a Christian I had better be extra careful what I do and say, because people are constantly waiting for a Christian to slip up, so they can jump on them and say, "AHAH!" People can then self righteously use that slip up to discredit everything I've ever stood for. It's a lesson I have learned, but have not learned it well enough.

Since you seem so intent on judging me, all I ask is that you judge me on the totality of all you know about me. Judge me on the way I have conducted myself on this forum over the years, not just on an odd post here or there where I may have slipped. Judge me on the way I have treated you personally. Judge me on what I have written.

I don't ever recall saying you weren't pro-life enough, conservative enough, etc. I don't think many of Bush's policies are pro-life enough, conservative enough, constitutional enough, etc. I thought that was up for debate and this forum was the proper place for it.

I've been trying to avoid the "In House Fighting" around here and have been posting a lot at Liberty Post lately because people there seem to be more receptive of my point of view. While there, I have not trashed FR nor have I ever said anything bad about John or Jim Robinson. But that wasn't good enough for one of your "cronies" who had to bait me by posting outright lies about me here. When I called him on his lies, he resorted to posting that off color remark I made. That was the worst thing he could find, and it had nothing to do with the point (lie) he was trying to make.

Are you going to admonish him for lying? You gladly joined him in pointing out my sin and seemed to rejoice at it.

I can't really say that I'm surprised that you wish to change the focus to several other topics and/or people. You seem to believe that your behavior is somehow exemplary and that you have just gone a little too far on a few occasions.

Excuse me if I see it differently. I have watched you go from being a reasonable voice of disagreement to crawling on the ground with some of the lowest. I haven't seen you climb back up either.

Don't misunderstand me here. I am not and have never pretended to be sweetness and calm. I am as fiery as anyone else. However, I don't speak as if I am on some pedestal with a corner on truth and solutions. You and your friends do and that's where the battle lies.

I realize that you will shake your head as you read this and think that I am wrong. That is your privilege. But we all have to discern by what we see. I have looked at LP about three times only. I had to chuckle to myself to see that the tongues are a little more foul and the viciousness a bit more hyped......mostly by people who throw around God's name as some sort of personal shield. I think you get my drift.

It is pretty hard not to see you as part of that group and therefore perceived accordingly. If that bothers you, I guess you can chalk it up to going with the territory.

Every choice has consequences and sometimes we just have to live with them. If you are now feeling tarnished from rubbing elbows with AFers, you can blame it on yourself. Your need to have a guru that promises much, but delivers little can be a disappointing experience and often creates the need to lash out. After all, someone has to be blamed for standing in the way of the perfect country that you, your fellow groupies and your idol would bring about if only your team were in charge.
