President Bush, accompanied by his father, George H.W. Bush, attended a fund raiser in Prout's Neck for Maine Senator Susan Collins. Bush also enjoyed a round of golf with Poppy as well as some fishing. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

My husband does not mind my one-tracked mind one little bit, and he agrees with my assessment of the relationship of the First Couple, because it is not unlike our own.

Soooo, on that I note I will say.........good night, Dr. Deb! Pleasant dreams!

Don Evans, Secretary of Commerce, was in the Cincy area this past week. However, I haven't heard any rumors yet about Dubya'. If I do, I'll let you know!

There's no shame in being rock-like. If you do look like a rock, it would be a beautiful rock, like quartstone or amethyst, not granite ;-)

Oh no ma'am. I just meant that maybe it was an illusion to him. Kinda like the siren song of a mermaid! Yeah, that's it!

Oh, I don't want to imagine that, admiralsn! I might chunder! (That's British for hurl!)

I realized that I never answered your question about our youngest. She had a fabulous trip to Peru, and came back saddened by the intense poverty there, and bound and determined to go back. She's started back to soccer now, and is working part-time picking blueberries at $.55/pint. In one four hour period last year she picked 84 pints! She's intense!!

Now I really am going to bed!! Good night for the third time! LOL!

What a stupid thing to say. Are you suggesting the President of the United States should never be allowed to enjoy himself. Ok, then you better work 7 days a week every waking hour if you expect him to do it. Every heath expert on this planet would say everyone in cludint the President of the United States has to have down time. Especially POTUS. Do you have the pressures and the weight of the world on your shoulders. Get real, he never leaves his job behind. But I bet you get to. You didn't listen to him very well did you. He said live your lives.

Get off your high horse he is a human being and he has earned his down time.

Confucius said that a virtuous ruler leads by example.

Ummmm, excuse me. And Clintoon DID?? With an intern squatting in front of him? And lying in sworn testimony?

BTW, answer my question on the Biden thread. DOCUMENT Bush's "several drunk driving arrests."
