It's okay if the herd isn;t there when you look back, but only if they ran off a cliff.

Speaking of influence and someone else's dog ... a good two by four works when all else fails.

When it comes to arguing with women ... I heard that there are a lot more than two theories ... but they're still all wrong.

Also, don't slap a person who is well armed.

On the never missing a good chance to shut up ... the alternative is to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

The ones that learn just be reading ... don't learn.

I ordered it last weekend from amazon.com, and got an email from them yesterday saying it wouldn't ship out until mid-September.

I guess that could mean that lots of people are buying it!

I'll get with the distributor. They should be able to beat that.

I too hope it means lots of sales ... but I also know that you have to have better order fulfillment than that if you are going to keep customers. So, Monday, I'll raise a little cain.

It could also be a problem with amazon.com... None of the other books I ordered last weekend have shipped either, after they claimed they could ship within 24 hours.... It's not the first time I've had trouble with amazon.com taking their time with stuff.

The project itself has involved a number of Freeepers and it has been designed as an effort to use the printed media, in this case an exciting (hopefully) military thriller, to convey consititutional and moral messages.

Before embarking on it and before posting to FR, I cleared periodic updates with Jim and have donated part of the proceeds to FR (and will continue to do so). That last is not an agreement and is not the result of any FR involvement ... just my own personal decision.

To date the project has not been very profitable ... except in profiting getting a good message out. Perhaps one day it will be and I can benefit/donate more to FR.

Either way, sorry for any inconvenience or annoyance ... certainly none was intended.
