Thanks for the flag. This is a fantastic article.

The subject of "tribalism (my characterization)," which you mention in the thread here, is one that is too often ignored when discussing immigration of any kind, and particularly that of the flood coming from south of the border. It is this inextricable facet of the human condition that should be MOST respected when debating immigration issues, whatever country or population is doing the debating.

Unfortunately (to say the least), current conditions in the United States and the rest of the West demand that we ignore basic human nature in most things socio-political. It's like seeing two locomotives headed for each other on the same track, unable to warn the conductors because you're tied to one of the cattleguards. Of course in our case the conductors are well aware that the collision is coming; they just don't care what the consequences are.

Dead-On. This is so simple that I don't understand how anyone else could not see it. It's so obvious, if you ask me.

You're right. They don't care, and they probably know where the path is taking us. It is a massive train de-railment of which our culture, our way of our life, our country will be obliterated. Things are changing at lightning speed, and this country is so much different than what it was even twenty years ago. Imagine how things are going to be in twenty years, given the exponential increasing problems, if we don't deal with the issue very soon. Will there be an America within twenty years? Who knows. World Government is rearing its head while we've got domestic enemies in the Congress and non-assimilated third world immigrants pouring in.
