1. When is Fox gonna get smart and hire John away from ABC? Seems like he'd more at home with Fox News!

2. Anyone remember Ayn Rand's "prediction" in Atlas Shrugged about what "science" and the scientific community would become? It appears she was absolutely bang on.

Actually to the Gaia mother earth worshiping, animal worhsiping, envirals ----- and they are legion ---- mother earth and all her creatures - are of much more worth because they are the object of religious worsnip ---- than you or me.

However, the envireligionists do make exceptions. They sorta like to keep breathing. So, THEY can continue to exist as long as you and I get out of their way.....and out of the way of their overburdened "earth mother".

It's difficult to say which is more enjoyable - John Stossell's reports themselves, or Baba Wawa's dazed, "confuseled" deer-in-the-headlights look when a Stossell report concludes with "The Desk Shot." First she looks totally flummoxed, then she tilts her head to one side and squints as if she's just seen a toad stool with dijon mustard on it, and finally turns to Stossell and squeaks out "Fascinating weport, John." Yes, Baba, it was. John Stossell reporting from a universe parallel to YOURS.

While John might fit in better at Fox, he almost certainly has a bigger audience at ABC. And that audience consists of people who need to hear steady doses of reporting such as John provides.

Think of the words "Token Conservative," then combine that with "small summertime TV audiences." Stossel simply gives the network liberals an out: "Hey, we broadcast John Stossel..." It's like newspapers that bury news they don't want anyone to read on page 55 next to the obits. No one can ever say they didn't print it!

Well the lynx is definetely not endangered in Maine.

Back in the spring I was driving on a main road in Brewer when a large cat walked into the road abouy 75 yards in front of me.

I got to within twenty yards before it went off the other side of the road and it was clearly a 35-55 lb. lynx.

Fox has become pretty much useless since bubba left office. I see them as just the reverse of the CNN enablers anymore. They never saw a neoconservative position they don't like.
