Redskins at Cowboys Thanksgiving Day this year...if we get a better Skins/Cowboys game than the last few meetings, Turkey Day is going to ROCK!

To: who knows what evil?
You got it!
I was really starting to miss George Allen and Joe Gibbs, but it looks like the gamesmanship is back and so is the hatred. ;^)
Let's get ready to ruuuuummmmmmbbbbbbblllllllleeeeeee.

Looks like we're going to find out what "Ouchkili" is all about this weekend. I was hopping they wouldn't start him, that way they would trade him to a team that doesn't enjoy failure. Cinncinati, the team and there fans, like being losers and seem to wallow in a losing attitude. It makes me sick. The only dumb thing I've seen Akili do was sacrifice his career for an $11 Million signing bonus. If that can be considered dumb.

He didn't have a choice. They've made it tougher to beat the draft system, I think the last player to do it was Bernie Kosar. Shoulda been a sign though when Miser Mike Brown sent him a coach ticket to Cincinnati, while Tim Couch was on a private jet to Cleveland and Donovan McNabb was in a limo on his way to Philly. That organization has rotted from the top, and until Brown sells it or hires someone competent to run it they are going to suck.
I thought Smith might end up in Houston as Palmer seemed impressed with him. That might have been a ploy to sucker the Bengals into drafting him with the #3 though. That's the kind of thing Carmen Policy likes to do.
We're up against Kordelia this week. If they manage to win we're still in first, but most likely we go 2-1/2 up and take firm control of the division.

There has to be a better way than the current draft system. I could care less if it keeps parity between teams, what it does is force mediocracy. If the NFL is a business, and they love to chant that every time they make boneheaded knee jerk decisions, then they should operate like one. Let the players and teams negotiate their own deals, let the free market work. If team x needs a QB, let them make offers and the player can decide where he wants to go and under what conditions. The draft really is a twisted cross between a slave auction, union shop, and lottery. If they weren't getting paid so much to do it people would feel sorry for them.
Bottom line, I think the quality of the game would be much better if the socialistic mechanisms were removed. If that means the Niners and Dallas were in the Super Bowl every year, then all the power to them.
