I send money to the most effective groups. That would be the NRA and on the local front, The Texas Rifle Association.
The next group that I would send money to would be the Second Amendment Foundation and the Second Amendment Sisters. The Sisters aren't much of a lobbying group but I love their Media Coverage.
I'm still waiting for the eleventh person to tell me what the GOA does before I send money to them. I won't send a penny to anyone that can't tell me what they have accomplished or/and openly criticizes another group.
The last legislation that the NRA stopped was a Florida Mandatory Trigger Lock Law a couple of months ago.
