Bad idea by a well meaning fool. "

You have to stand in line to give personal attacks to him. A couple of posts were already deleted. Can you tell me what's so wrong about disabling a gun that somebody left laying around where their kids can get to it and only takes a second to chamber another round without the fumbling of a trigger lock?

A "safety device" (which will jam the gun) that is hidden inside the chamber is worse than useless to me. It's dangerous.

Any "safety lock" needs to be on the outside and highly obvious so that if awakened at 0300 by crashing glass or a club to the head, one will at least know what he needs to do to get the gun he loaded 3 months ago ready.

A "disabling bullet" hidden in the chamber (3 months ago) is going to be forgotten in the heat and stress and fear and ringing in the ears environement of sudden life or death combat. Then it will get the defender killed.

You have GOT to be kidding!!???!!!?

My guns are NEVER left "laying around".

Further, my kids are smart enough to remove the "safety bullet" if they HAD to use a gun for self-defense.

Stay safe; stay armed.
