I read that ... about them taking Traficant's piece off of him. I was totally astonished. I must be incredibly naive, but I couldn't believe that he would intentionally wear such a bizarre and artificial looking hairpiece, so I just assumed it was really weird natural hair.

He was never asked to do commercials for the company that made them! He must have had several; his hair did look different at times. I thought it was real, too.
