I wish we could ban the use of the phrase, "peace process". Peace is not a process, nor is it the result of a process (unless the process is the war process).

Peace is made by victory, or by defeat. The Israeli Jews are in the unpleasant position of having to choose one or the other, when they clearly prefer neither.

What they want, desperately, is for their enemies to consent to their dispossession without the ugliness of having to crush them, seeing them driven before the eyes of Israel, and listening to the lamentations of their women.

The result is continuing massacres of Jews. Sooner or later, it will be the Jews who say, "enough", rather than their enemies.

All because of a false belief that peace is a "process".

The main thing in true strategy is simply this:
first deal as hard blows at the enemy's soldiers
as possible, then cause so much suffering to the
inhabitants of a country that they will long for peace
and press their government to make it.
Nothing should be left to the people, but eyes to lament the war.

Gen. Philip H Sheridan 1895.

Israel, it is time.
