I worked overseas and all over the South for a lot of years.
I was always ready to "get up and go to Texas"!
There's no place like home. :)
I remember going to Texas with my parents when I was a little girl. I looked out the backseat window early that day and saw some buildings (Dallas) off in the distance and thought that we would be there in an hour...late that night I was still looking at those buildings with their lights on now and thought that we would never get there. haha! I've never seen a place that flat!
Anyway I was sitting too far down in the backseat to really see Texas but I did ride through it one time.
