But then, I remember the long months before Desert Storm when Pat Buchanan among others were predicting all the 20,000 American body bags. The Iraqi people will probably dance in the streets when Saddam is gone.

The long build-up is good. The encirclement of Iraq and other Middle-East tyrannies is good. Builds terror and nervousness, emboldens dissidents.

I do not think Turkey has anything to worry about when it comes to a Kurdish nation being established. The U.S. is not going to help set one up if its going to encourage more terrorism anywhere, for pity's sake.
