According to some experts, the bull shark (above), also known as the freshwater or river shark, grows from 7 to 11 feet long, and has "been found up to 1,750 miles up the Mississippi River in the USA and 2,500 miles up the Amazon River in Peru."

Bull Sharks, and two species of Tiger shark are commonly found in NJ.
