He was legally drinking at their age.

Like it or not, times have changed and NOW it is ILLEGAL. I am a strong supporter of Bush, but these incidents are embarrassing. Frankly these girls are showing a lot of immaturity and selfishness by continuing to break the law, especially when they know they are under intense scrutiny. I know they didn’t run for President, their father did. So get over it & grow up. I’m sure they enjoy the perks of being the President’s daughters, now take responsibility.

It is perhaps the most ridiculous and stupid law in this nation, and also one that violates at least the spirit of the Tenth Amendment (since the feds blackmail states into keeping their drinking ages artificially high). Frankly, I'd like to see one or both of them come out and say that...perhaps it would provoke a debate on the subject.

If the Twins want a drink so badly, they should take a few vacations out of the U.S. where it is LEGAL for them to drink. The leftist press couldn't make political hay for it being illegal.
