Right. They want you to send your son out with a flaming gay, and for you not to even know. Parents will quietly abandon this program if they persist.

It's not just the parents of kids who will abandon the program. I was just talking a couple of days ago with my wife about a statistic I'd heard or read, that 25% of American kids don't have a dad in the home. We were talking about how good it might be for me to mentor some dadless boy, and that brought to mind this program. But if they're going to have gays participate, I don't think I'll be taking part.

According to Wade Horn of the National Fatherhood Initiative, "Fifty percent of all white children and seventy-five percent of all black children born in the last two decades are likely to live for some portion of their childhood with only their mothers."
